McKittrick, Peter, Mrs. (? - DEC 1948)

Mrs. Peter McKittrick, a former resident of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), died at her home in Boston, Mass., was buried beside her husband, Dr. Peter McKittrick, in Forest Hill Cemetery at Eau Claire on Sunday. Services were conducted at the Putman Memorial Chapel by Rev. Maurice Haehlen.

Mrs. McKittrick was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sterling, prominent Thorp citizens of early days, and widow of Dr. Peter McKittrick who practice in Thorp from 1889 until he went into partnership with Dr. E. L. Mason at Eau Claire in Feb. 1908. Dr. McKittrick died in Dec. 1913 at Eau Claire.

Mrs. McKittrick is survived by six children: Dr. Leland McKittrick and Mrs. Margaret Goethel of Boston; Mrs. Harry Johnson, Wilmette, Ill.; Mrs. Howard Riordan, Erie, Ill.; Mrs. Frank Hazel and Dr. Jack McKittrick of Boston. Seventeen grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, also survive.
