Severson, Vera Ann (9 MAR 1944)

A pretty wedding took place at Neillsville on Mar. 9, when Miss Vera Ann Severson became the bride of Harold Heck. They were united in marriage in the Congregational parsonage by the Rev. G. W. Longenecker.

Miss Severson is the oldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Vern Severson of the town of Beaver, and Mr. Heck is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Heck of the town of Eaton.

The bride is a graduate of Greenwood high school with the class of 1943. She wore a lovely white net floor-length dress, with veil, silver slippers and accessories. The bridesmaid, Miss Opal Hendrickson, wore yellow floor-length dress, and both girls wore red roses.

The groom wore blue and was attended by his twin brother, Harvey, who wore brown. Both men wore carnations. The groom is working on a farm near Neillsville.

A wedding dinner was given at the Eli Heck home at 7 o’clock for immediate families, and in the evening a large crowd came for a charivari.

Many join in wishing for the young couple years of happy wedded life.
