Jasmer, Evelyn J. (27 SEP 1947)

Miss Evelyn Joyce Jasmer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. carl Jasmer of Withee (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Frank Wall, son of Mr. and Mrs. Mike Wall of Thorp, in a ceremony performed by Rev. Walter Schedler at the St. John’s Ev. Lutheran Church at Withee at 2:30 o’clock Saturday, Sept. 27, 1947.

The bride, presented in marriage by her father, was gowned in white satin fitted bodice with sleeves pointed at the wrists. She wore a nylon over satin skirt and a long train. Her veil, which was trimmed with wide lace, was held in place by an orange blossom tiara. She wore a pearl necklace and the groom’s gift, a wrist watch. Her bouquet was of pink and white roses.

Miss Dolores Glenzer, maid of honor, was attired in an aqua taffeta gown with maroon trimming. The bridesmaids, Miss Evelyn Doberstein of Medford, and Mrs. Stella Hardin of Chicago, the bride’s sister, were dressed in gowns of blue satin and rose satin with net overskirt and bodice. The maid of honor and bridesmaids wore white roses in their hair and shoulder corsages of mixed flowers. The single strand necklaces were gifts of the bride.

Bruno Parniewicz of Withee, attended the groom as best man and Frank Jones of Whittlesey and Everett Bardin of Chicago, were groomsmen. They wore white carnation boutonnieres.

The bride attended Medford High School and graduated from the Withee High with the class of 1946.

For the occasion the bride’s mother wore a blue dress with black accessories and the groom’s mother a pink figured dress with black accessories. Both wore corsages of mixed flowers.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, attended by about forty guests. After a motorcycle trip to Yellowstone Park and a visit with relatives in Minnesota, the newlyweds will be at home on the (the rest of my copy was cut off)
