Jensen, Lucille (Marriage - 15 Nov. 1939)

Wednesday, November 15, was chosen by Miss Lucille Elizabeth Jensen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Tony Jensen, Marshfield, R. 1 to become the bride of Harold Edward Pagelsdorf, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Pagelsdorf, Jr., Loyal, R. 1.

The young couple exchanged vows before Judge O. W. Schoengarth, Neillsville, at 3 o'clock.

The bride was attended by Mrs. Carrol Pagelsdorf as maid of honor, and Mrs. Robert Cepress, aunt of the bride as bridesmaid. The groom was attended by his brother, Carrol Pagelsdorf, as best man and Robert Cepress as groomsman.

The bride wore a blue wool custom suit with a gray fur jacket, blue hat and black accessories. She wore a shoulder bouquet of yellow pompons.

Mrs. Pagelsdorf chose a wine colored dress with black jacket and black accessories. Mrs. Cepress wore Peacock blue with black fur jacket and black accessories. Both ladies wore should bouquets of white pompons.

The men wore dark suits with boutonnieres of white pompons.

The bride was formerly employed at McMelleans store at Marshfield the past year.

The groom has been employed with the Clark County highway department for the past three years.

A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents for immediate friends and relatives which were as follows:

Mr. and Mrs. Carroll Pagelsdorf, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Pagelsdorf, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Haselow, Mr. and Mrs. Dale Weyhmiller all of Loyal; Mr. and Mrs. Peter Felten, Sr. and Peter, Jr., Mr. and Mrs. Joe Felten and family, Mr. and Mrs. James Felten and family, Mr. and Mrs. John Hardinger and family, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Cepress and family all of McMillian; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Motchenbacher and Audrey, Mr. and Mrs. William Rondorf and son Dale and Miss Leone Christensen, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Buchholz and family, Mr. and Mrs. Loy Rayhorn and family.

In the evening a wedding dance was given at the Country Ballroom where the young couple greeted friends and neighbors. *** Note: The last paragraph was missing.
