LeClaire, Audrey (Marriage - 25 June 1935)

St. Francis Catholic church, DePere, was the scene of the marriage of Miss Audrey LeClaire, Fond du Lac, daughter of George LeClaire, Dorchester, and Dr. William C. Wojta, Fond du Lac, son of Charles Wojta, Mishicot, which took place Tuesday morning at 8 o’clock. The Rev. S. J. Dowling officiated.

The bride, who was given in marriage by her father, wore oyster colored georgette, a taffeta jacket of aquamarine blue, and a picture hat with gardenia trim. Her flowers were arranged in a colonial bouquet, and she carried a pearl rosary.

Miss Wilma LeClaire, Dorchester, sister of the bride, as maid of honor, wore yellow taffeta, picture hat, and corresponding accessories. Her corsage was similar to that of the bride. Miss Margaret Wojta, Fond du Lac, sister of the groom, wore pink embroidered organdie, picture hat, and harmonizing accessories.

The groom was attended by Earl Burkhart and Harold Yecker, both of Fond du Lac.

Following the ceremony, breakfast was served to members of the immediate families at Hotel Northland, Green Bay. Dr. and Mrs. Wojta left immediately on a trip through the east which will include stops at New York City, Boston, and Washington, D.C. On their return July 1 they will be at home to friends at 337 Gillette street, Fond du Lac.

The groom, a graduate of Marquette university, is a practicing physician at the Wiley Smith clinic, Fond du Lac. The bride, a graduate of the Abbotsford high school in 1929, was also graduated from St. Agnes school of nursing, Fond du Lac in 1932, and has been practicing nursing until recently.
