On Sunday morning, Feb. 16, 1947, a solemn Mass was celebrated in honor of the Golden Wedding Anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. John Kowieski at St. Hedwig’s Church at Thorp (Clark Co.), Wis. The altar was beautifully decorated with yellow and white flowers and golden bouquets. The children, in a body with the bridal couple, received Holy Communion as an offering to the Sacred Heart.

Seven children were born to this union, all of whom were here to attended the Golden Wedding fetivities.

All of the seven children were present: Nick, Joseph and Frank of Chicago, Victoria, Paul, Helen of Thorp and Michael of Greenwood. 19 of the 25 grandchildren helped the grandparents celebrate the occasion.
