Stayton, Ernest (24 February 1896 - 26 August 1950)

Funeral services for Ernest Stayton, 54, were held on Wednesday, August 30, at the funeral home in Loyal. He died in downtown Loyal of a heart attack on Saturday morning, shortly after visiting a physician. Burial was made in the Loyal Cemetery.

Mr. Stayton was born in Richland County, February 24, 1896. He received his education there and was married in 1919 to Laura Bertha Stumpner, who survives.

Surviving also are six children: Mrs. Ed Fink of Chicago, Mrs. Vern Olsen of Watertown, Carl of Milwaukee, Mrs. Rex Pickett of Loyal, Robert of Wausau, and Nancy at home.

Mr. Stayton was a director of Neillsville Milk Products.
