Yaron, Tony T. Sr. (November 11, 1922 - November 7, 2008)

Tony T. Yaron, Sr., 85, of Dorchester, Wisconsin died Friday, Nov. 7, 2008, under the care of the Ministry Home Care Hospice.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9, at the Maurina-Schilling Funeral Home in Abbotsford and on Monday at the church in Lublin from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held a 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 10, 2008 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin. Father John Long will preside. Burial will follow in the parish cemetery.

His active pallbearers will be Teresa Jentzsch, Debbie Zenner, Sara, Jason, Jeremy and Kelsey Yaron. Honorary pallbearers will be Brent and Justin Yaron.

Tony was born November 11, 1922, in Withee to Anton and Alvina (Fedarowicz) Yaron.

He attended rural schools until the 8th grade.

Following his schooling, he returned to his parents farm and helped with daily farm chores. At the same time his family owned and operated a family general store in Lublin where he also worked.

Tony and Dolores Surman were united in marriage June 6, 1953, at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Lublin.

In 1954 they moved to Dorchester where he worked at various businesses including the Dorchester Furniture Factory, The Dorchester Pole Yard and finally at Liberty Homes from which he retired in 2006.

His wife Dolores passed away January 19, 2003.

Tony enjoyed his wood working, his gardens, fishing and hunting.

He is survived by his children, Tony T. (Rachel) Yaron, Jr., Mosinee, Steven (Denise) Yaron, Medford, Jim (Diane) Yaron, New Richmond, and Carl (Diane) Yaron, Mosinee; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Dolores; a son Paul; four sister and two brothers.

Maurina/Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
