Laski, Mr./Mrs. James (50th Anniv. - 16 Aug. 2008)

James and Stella Laski of Owen celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on Aug. 16, 2008, with a reception, dinner and dance at Double B in Owen. They also attended an anniversary church service at Holy Rosary Church in Owen.

They were married Aug. 16, 1958, at St. Hedwig’s in Thorp, with the Rev. Constant Chilicki officiating.

Original wedding attendants were Charles Kliefoth, Allen Baronsky, Gerald Harycki, Ann Cuae, Pat Thompson, Dolores Ludwig and Jane Styers.

James was born March 23, 1935, in Little Black. He served in the Air Force.

The former Stella Harycki was born March 12, 1938, in Thorp. They are both retired.

Their family includes a daughter, Linda Levan; a son, Allan (Pam) Laski; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
