Stanley, Ruth M. (Marriage - 5 October 1949)

Miss Ruth M. Stanley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Roy Stanley, Neillsville, became the bride of Thomas Jacobs, Neillsville the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacobs, Chicago, in the parsonage of the Zion Evangelical and Reformed Church on October 5, (1949) at 4 p.m. in Neillsville. The Rev. N. J. Dechant officiated at the single ring ceremony.

Mr. and Mrs. Jacobs were attended by Mrs. Roy Stanley, mother of the bride, and Mrs. Joe Chase, the bride’s sister.

Mrs. Jacobs attended Neilslville High School and Mr. Jacobs attended high school in Chicago. Mr. Jacobs made his home with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Mildebrath, Neillsville, the past four years. Shortly after the ceremony the newlyweds drove to Merrillan, where they took the Northwestern’s "400" on the first leg of their wedding trip to Fort Riley, Kan., where the groom will take ten weeks of mechanical training.
