Marriage rites for Miss Dorothy Alice Prebil, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Prebil, Jr., of Willard, and William Petkovsek, son of John Petkovsek, also of Willard, took place October 23 (1948) in the Holy Family Church, the Rev. Fr. Odila Officiating.

A reception for 60 guests was held in the evening at the home of the bride’s parents. After a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin, the couple will be at home in Willard where the groom farms.

Those who attended from out-of-town included: Mr. and Mrs. John Beton, Sr., Mr. and Mrs. John Beton, Jr., Martin Petkovsek, all of Chicago; Miss Ann Lassen, Waukegan; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Petkovsek, John Petkovsek, Curtiss; Mr. and Mrs. Frank Klancher and Jim, Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Tony Klancher, Granton.
