Dehne, Rose (14 Sept. 1882 - 13 Nov. 1956)

Mrs. Rose Dehne died at Oshkosh Tuesday night at 9:00 o’clock at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Harry Strade, at the age of 74 years after an illness of 15 years. Funeral services will be held at the First Ev. and Reformed church in Oshkosh Friday at 1:00 P.M. after which the remains will be taken to the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby and lie in state. Friends may call Friday evening at the funeral home where short services will be conducted Saturday at 1:30 P.M.

Mrs. Dehne, nee Rose Stockmeyer, was born in Newton on September 14, 1882, and married Wm. Dehne on December 3, 1903. They lived in Oshkosh 23 years. Her husband preceded her in death on January 3, 1934.

Surviving are her daughter, Mrs. Strade; two brothers, Rev. Otto Stockmeyer of Woolgate, Ohio, and Gustave Stockmeyer of Newton; one sister, Lena Goeke of Greenwood; five grand children. One son, Ronald, died April 14, 1956.
