Haunchman, Mrs. William (1865? - August 1948)

Mrs. William Haunchman, 83, former resident of Neillsville, was interred at Ellsworth Monday. She had died at Superior, her husband having died less than three weeks previously.

Mr. and Mrs. Haunchman were old-time residents of this community, and left many friends here. They were the parents of Mrs. Arthur Benedict of Fond du Lac, Mrs. Charles Schumacher of Superior and Mrs. A. J. Miller of West Allis.

Mr. and Mrs. Benedict were here last week as guests of Mr. and Mrs. Jess Scott. They returned to Fond du Lac, received there the word of Mrs. Haunchman’s death and started north again at once. They stopped in Neillsville Tuesday, enroute from Ellsworth to Fond du Lac.
