Unity - Nov. 15, 1956

Earl Stafford of Unity, Route 1, age 36, suffered a concussion, scalp laceration and neck injury Monday morning when a blower fell on his head. He was taken to the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital where his condition is good.

Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Peterson and five daughters, formerly of Fennimore, have moved into the house they purchased from Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Capes.

Roller skating began Saturday night at the Unity hall.

The American Legion Auxillary served a dinner for veterans and their wives Saturday night at the Legion hall.

A pink and blue shower was held at the home of Mrs. Gordon Lynn in honor of Mrs. Dennis Colby, Wis. Games were played and lunch served by Mrs. Lynn, Mrs. Stewart Salter and Mrs. Rudy Lynn.

Mrs. Oscar Carlson was released from the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital and is convalescing at her home in the town of Brighton after a major operation.

Mrs. Elaine Johnson left for Washington, D.C., after visiting her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Salem Johnson. She is an airline hostess.
