Meeker, Sharon Alice (Marriage - 13 June 1970)

Miss Sharon Alice Meeker, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Meeker of Rt. 3 Stanley, was united in marriage Saturday in Faith Evangelical Free Church in Stanley to Dale Arthur Kocherer, son of Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Kocherer of South St. Paul, Minn. The Rev. Robert Allen performed the single ring ceremony in the presence of relatives and friends.

The bride wore a floor-length, white gown, and carried a bouquet of white carnations and red roses as she was escorted to the altar by her father.

Mrs. Ted (Rose) Zaszczuynski served as the matron-of-honor and Mrs. Raymond (Judy) Saunders was the bridesmaid. Both are sisters of the bride. They wore pink floor-length gowns with lace taffeta and a matching veil. They carried a bouquet of white daisies.

Roger Kocherer was bestman and Galen Kocherer served as the groomsman. Ushers were Marvin Meeker and Robert White. Robert Kocherer was ringbearer and Mrs. Isenberger provided music.

A reception was held at Club 73, Thorp, which was decorated in pink and white streamers and wedding bells.

The bride graduated from Stanley-Boyd High School and the groom from a high school in South St. Paul. He is employed in a feed mill in Stanley. They are making their home in Stanley.
