Pounder & Fricke purchased Healy's 80 acres of timberland in town 27, range 1, west.

Mr. and Mrs. L.W. Larson were rejoicing over the arrival of a handsome baby girl, Wednesday, Dec. 23, 1891.

George McConnell was instantly killed on Saturday by the bursting of a boiler in the feed mill in Jack Farlane's sawmill, while waiting for some feed to be ground. Mr. McConnell was the second victim of the boiler at that place, and was the fourth person to be killed there in the past twelve years.

On Monday while Earl Williams was sawing down a tree at James Bryden's camp, the falling tree fell across the end of the one on which he was standing, tossing him into the air about 25 feet. When picked up, it was found that his collar bone was broken, ankle sprained and otherwise badly bruised and shook up, and on Wednesday, at the same camp, Wm. Cook had his leg broken by a log rolling on it and crushing it.
