(Too late for last week)

Some of our young people started out for town last Saturday on sleighs, but had to get a wagon to get home with.

Mr. and Mrs. Tatro visited at Dimler's Sunday.

Harry Tupper was an overnight caller at Weber's Saturday.

A stork lost its way and stopped at the Meinhardt home a few days ago and left another young farmer for Mr. Meinhardt. This makes the ninth one he has left there. Surely Mr. Meinhardt ought to wear a smile.

Mr. and Mrs. Churkey from near Globe visited at Furney's Sunday.

Miss Emma Flagg visited Mrs. Gemmeke last Friday.

The Gemmeke boys each got a deer apiece, which make three.

George Gemmeke, Jr. killed the largest deer in our vicinity.

Mr. Furney has killed his first deer in Clark County.

Miss Velma Bostwick spent Thankgiving at home.

Miss Emma Flagg has been sering for Mrs. Gemmeke the past week.

Mr. and Mrs. Dimler ate Thanksgiving dinner at Bostwick's.

Little Elsie Dimler is blind and as helpless as a baby. It seems a pity for one so young to be afflicted in that way.

Mr. Butcher is in our vicinity sawing wood for the farmers.

Mr. Weber and brother Charley are cutting wood for Mr. Cole of Brandon, Wis. Mr. Cole is going to have his wood shipped to his home.

Mr. Weber expects to move onto the Harry Tupper place soon, in the Janesville Settlement, where he will have to get busy to keep up with the times.
