Francis P. Sconzert

CHILI -- Francis P. Sconzert, 49, of Chili, died Saturday evening, July 26, 2008, at Saint Joseph's Hospital, with his family by his side.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at the Hansen Funeral Home, Marshfield. A private interment will take place at a later date.

He was born March 17, 1959, in Blytheville, Ark., the son of Delores (Unertl) Sconzert and William R. Sconzert.

On Aug. 18, 1989, in Eagle River, Francis was united in marriage to the former Virginia James. He worked as a fishing outfitter serving as a fishing guide. He was also employed at Figi's Corporation from 2002 until the present time. Francis was also a professional musician throughout his adult life.

He is lovingly survived by his wife, Virginia "Ginnie" Sconzert, Chili; a daughter, Nicole "Nikki" and son, Noah "Sconzy," both at home. Francis is further survived by his mother, Delores Sconzert, Arbor Vitae; brothers, Alan (Sue) Sconzert, Lake Charles, La., Christopher (Debbie), Merrill; and one sister, Debra (Mitch) Eisen, Sturgeon Bay.
