Mack, Elaine (16 AUG 1947)

At a nuptial high mass performed at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Neillsville at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 16, 1947, Miss Elaine Mack, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Mack of Neillsville (Clark Co., Wis.), became the bride of Leo Neville, son of Mr. and Mrs. William Neville, Sr., Neillsville. The Rev. John J. Pritzl officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The bride wore a gown of white satin fashioned with a hoop skirt. Her full length veilw as caught to a beaded headdress. Her bridal bouquet consisted of white roses and baby’s breath.

The matron of honor, Mrs. William Neville, sister-in-law of the groom, wore a pink brocade taffeta gown and carried a bouquet of gladioli. The bridesmaids, the Misses Tillie Cernik, Neillsville, and Angeline Perushek, Willard, wore blue and yellow brocaded taffeta gowns, respectively, and carried bouquets of gladioli. The flower girl, Betty Lou Mack, sister of the bride, wore green dotted Swiss. Brinda Kay Neville, niece of the groom, was ring bearer.

The groom was attended by his brother, William Neville, as best man, and Richard Prochazka, Neillsville, and Walter Oelke, Cornell, as ushers.

Following the ceremony a luncheon was served at the home of the groom’s parents and later a dinner at St. Mary’s hall.

The bride is a graduate of a high school in Chicago. The groom is a graduate of the Neillsville High School, class of 1943. Following a honeymoon to northern Wisconsin the couple will make their home in Neillsville.
