Helm, Elaine (Marriage - 3 March 1946)

Miss Elaine Helm, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Helm, Granton, and Philmore Seefeldt, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin Seefeldt, Chili, were married Sunday, March 3, at 2:30 p.m. at the Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Granton. The Rev. William A. Lauterbach officiated at the double ring ceremony.

The bride wore a gown with a duchess satin bodice and a skirt of white sheer ninon with a long train. She wore a net veil of illusion caught with a tiara of seed pearls and a rhinestone comb. She carried a bouquet of calla lilies.

The maid of honor was Miss Mildred Ross and the bridesmaids were Mrs. Eldore Seefeldt and Miss Beatrice Wein. The groom’s attendants were Eldore Seefeldt, Leland Garbisch and Clarence Pannier. Music was furnished by Dr. H. A. Ross as organist.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at Wagner’s Café in Neillsville. Feature of the reception was a three-tier cake baked by Mrs. Adolph Wein of Marshfield.

The bride is a graduate of the Granton High School with the class of 1942. Prior to her marriage she was employed at the office of Dr. R. H. Wink in Marshfield. The groom is engaged in farming.

Mr. and Mrs. Seefeldt will make their home on the groom’s farm near Chili.
