Mrs. O. Hoffmann returned home from the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital Wednesday.

Mrs. Art Wiersig returned from the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital where she was a surgical patient.

Miss Hattie Krepsky entered the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital Tuesday for medical treatments.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Goeltz, Sr., attended the funeral of the former’s cousin at Ripon Tuesday.

A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. James Eggebrecht of Colby, Route 2, at the Marshfield, Wisconsin Hospital Feb. 29.

Frank Sill of Racine, former Colby rural mail carrier, spent the week-end at the Floyd Eder home.

Joan, Marlene and Vergene Roth are spending a few days this week with their grand parents, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Martens.

Mrs. Elsie Behrendt of Wausau spent the week-end at the home of her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Fred M. Bruesewitz.

Mrs. Keith Beechel and three children of Spokane, Wash., are spending a week with the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Al Franz.

Mrs. Ed Bartik returned to her home in Plainfield Tuesday after spending a week with her brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. A. X. Umhoefer.

Mrs. Anthony L. Schemmer attended a board of directors meeting of the Diocesan Council of Catholic Women at Eau Claire Wednesday, March 7.

Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Neuman of Unity, Anna Orth of Abbotsford and Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Justman and daughter, Loraine, visited at the E. J. Martens home Sunday.

Frank Goeltz, Jr., left Friday night for the Rhode Island Naval Base from where he will go on a two-week’s cruise on a U.S. Navy ship as a non-commissioned navy reserve officer.
