Rogstad, Norbert D. (16 APR 1932 - 23 MAR 1942)

Norbert Delbert Rogstad, 9, died Monday afternoon, March 23, at 1:20 at St. Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield. Death was caused by the after effects of scarlet fever.

Norbert Rogstad was born on April 16, 1932, at Rozelville, Wis. At the age of two years he moved with his patents to Guttenberg, Ia., and in 1934 to Quincy, Ill. In the spring of 1937 he again returned with his parents to Marshfield, and in 1938 they came to live near Loyal.

He attended St. Anthony’s Catholic school and was in the fourth grade at the time of his untimely death.

He is survived by his parents and seven brothers and sisters, all at home.

Private funeral services were held Wednesday morning at his home. Burial was in the parish cemetery.

Relatives from away who attended the funeral were Mrs. Peter M. Burr, Delbert Burr and Mr. and Mrs. Lorell Burr, all of Stratford.
