Rinehart, Margaret #2 (11 DEC 1921 - 8 JUN 2008)

Margaret Rinehart, 86, Loyal, died on Sunday, June 8, 2008, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., on Wednesday, June 4, at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, rural Colby, Wis. The Rev. Dr. Paul C. Hunsicker Sr. officiated. Burial followed at St. Luke’s Cemetery. Pallbearers were Randy Rinehart, Richard Rinehart, Robert Rinehart, Scott Rinehart, Ed. Rinehart, and Shane Faude.

Margaret Felzkowski was born on Dec. 11, 1921, in Athens, to John and Mary (nee Levandowski) Felzkowski. She was raised on the family farm and received her education at St. Anthony’s Catholic School in Athens. She married Henry Rinehart on April 8, 1942, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Athens. They farmed north of Loyal from 1944 until 1963, at which time they sold the farm to their son Gerald, and bought a house just down the road. Her husband died on May 11, 1990. She continued to reside at home until moving to the Hometown Village, Loyal, in 2007. She was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and had many interests, but especially loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and fishing.

Survivors include one son, Gerald (Diane) Rinehart, Loyal, four grandsons, Randy (Kay) Rinehart, Richard (Denise) Rinehart, Robert (Julie) Rinehart, and Scott (Eva) Rinehart; 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and one sister, Mary Pecher, Abbotsford, Wis.

Preceding her in death were her parents; Her husband, Henry; two brothers, Alois, Felzkowski and Eddie Felzkowski; and five sisters, Barbara Murkowski, Lucy Dahl, Martha Jakobi, Clara Kropp, and Kate Writz.

Cuddie Funeral Home, Loyal assisted the family with arrangements.
