Lowe, Genevieve #3 (12 NOV 1901)

Miss Genevieve Lowe was married to Ernest McIntire Tuesday afternoon at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thos. Lowe, Rev. Longenecker performing the ceremony. The house was beautifully decorated with flowers. Miss Cassie McMillan played the wedding march, and in the presence of relatives and intimate friends only the two were made one. After congratulations and good wishes had been bestowed, all sat down to a generous and elaborate banquet, and thereafter the bridal party were accompanied to the depot, where they took the train for Minneapolis for a short visit, after which they will make their home with the bride’s parents.

Nothing too good can be said of Genevieve and Ernest. Both were born and raised here (Neillsville, Clark Co., Wis.), and have the universal respect of the community. They received their education at our high school and have grown up together. The friendship of these two, which has resulted in marriage, has been one of the idylls of the city.
