Rickert, Caroline (? - 24 SEP 1946)
Miss Caroline Rickert of Unity, Wis., was fatally injured Tuesday, Sept. 24th, 1946, when the automobile in which she was driving is said to have struck a bridge near Withee.
She was picked up by Joseph Price, driver for the Motor Bus Co. of Chippewa Falls, and taken to Victory Hospital at Stanley. However, hospital officials said she was dead upon arrival there.
In the car with Miss Rickert were Maurice Morgan and another young man, both of whom are reported to have escaped serious injuries. After the car struck the bridge, it was reported that Miss Rickert was thrown out and that the car rolled over here as it went into the ditch along Highway 29.
