Hoepner, Eileen F. (Marriage - 5 Aug. 1944)

At an eight o’clock candlelight service on the evening of August 5, Eileen F. Hoepner, daughter of Mrs. A. H. Hoepner, 909 7th St., Menomonie, became the bride of Hale J. Risetter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Risetter, Lee, Ill. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. John Buran of the Congregational Church.

The bride was dressed in a white wool dressmaker suit, and wore a corsage of white roses and sweet peas.

Her maid of honor, Miss Irene Christopherson, wore a gold colored suit. Her corsage was one of yellow gladioli and sweet peas.

Arvene Hill, friend of the groom, acted as best man.

While the young couple were repeating the vows, Mrs. Virginia Hahn sang, "I Love You Truly," accompanied by Mrs. Ethel Jenson.

The bride is a graduate of the Neillsville High School, and of the Eau Claire State Teacher’s college, and has the past two years been teaching in the public schools of Ashton, Ill.

The groom is a graduate of the Shabbona, Ill., High school and attended the University of Illinois.

After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s mother for immediate friends and relatives.

The young couple will make their home at Lee, Ill., after a short wedding trip.
