Woodworth, Carrie M. (? - 14 May 1944)

Mrs. W. H. Woodworth died on Mothers’ Day, May 14, 1944, at 1:05 p.m., as a result of a cerebral hemorrhage she suffered the last of April.

Carrie M. Woodworth was born in Neillsville, Wis. She and Mr. Woodworth and the only daughter, Ruth, lived in Neillsville for a number of years. In 1915 they moved to Eau Claire, where they lived until 1925 when they moved to San Diego, and purchased a new home in beautiful Kensington Park, where they have since resided.

Mrs. Woodworth was a member of the Chapter of Eastern Stars at Neillsville, and a member of the Eau Claire Woman’s Club during her residence in Eau Claire, where she attended the Presbyterian Church. After going to San Diego she attended Dr. Howard Bard’s Unitarian Church and Dr. Bard officiated when her body was placed in Greenwood Mausoleum Corridor of Peace May 17.

Mrs. Woodworth has been preceded in death by her parents and brother. She is survived by her husband and daughter, who were at her bedside at the time of her death. She also leaves a number of cousins, nephews and nieces.
