Mahal, Wenzel Sr. (1885? - MAR 1946)
Wenzel Mahal, Sr., 60, of Stanley, was fatally injured last week when he was crushed between a hayrack and tractor while working on a farm near Boyd, which he owned but was occupied by his son-in-law, Albert Pinter. He was assisting in unloading hay and was struck by a hayrack and then caught between the rack and a tractor. He was taken to the Victory Hospital at Stanley, where he died at 10:30 o’clock the same night as a result of a skull fracture. He did not regain consciousness after the accident.
Funeral services were held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Stanley, with Father Pitzenberger officiating.
