Darge, Viola (15 DEC 1945)

Miss Viola Darge, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Darge of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.), and Pvt. Walter Graham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Graham of Thorp, were married at the St. Paul’s Lutheran Church of Reseburg at two p.m., Dec. 15, 1945, the Rev. F.H. Sprengler officiating.

The bride was lovely in a white satin and marquisette gown and fingertip veil. Miss Urlina Darge, sister of the bride, as maid of honor, wore pink, and the Misses Delores and Adeline Telford, bridesmaids, wore blue and gold respectively. All three wore blushers.

The groom and his attendants, Donald Darge and Marion Igras, wore their army uniforms.

A reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, for the bridal party and immediate relatives. A dance and shower were given at the American Legion Hall in Thorp later in the evening.

The groom has re-enlisted in the army and will leave for reassignment at the end of his furlough.
