Butler - by Mrs. Fred Morgan

Larry Morrison was taken to the Stanley Hospital Sunday. He was suffering from the results of a fall.

Miss Virginia Keys, Milwaukee, visited at the John Kile, Jr., home the forepart of the week.

Mrs. Fred Mock, Sandra and Murville went to Eau Claire Friday to visit at the home of her daughter Eileen and to attend a party on her son-in-law, who will be called into the service soon. Mr. Mock is also employed in Eau Claire.

The maple syrup season is over and some of the farmers have taken care of their syrup utensils for another year.

Emil Maslanka is spending a furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Steve Maslanka.

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Tieman, Sr., of Beloit are spending some time at their former home here.

Donald Ingham, Stanley, formerly of Butler, has been suffering from arthritis. He is better.

Mrs. Lottie Morrison and Helen attended the Butler Sunday school Sunday. The attendance was small on account of the bad roads and rainy weather.
