Kolb, Anna (18 NOV 1860 - 21 SEP 1944)

Mrs. Anna Kolb, nee Holzhausen, was born in the year of Our Lord 1860, on the 18th of November at Sheboygan, Wis. She attended the public school of her neighborhood and became a member of the Methodist Church. She was married to Louis Kolb to whom she proved a faithful helpmate until death separated them on Sept. 29th, 1932. This union was blessed with one daughter. She spent most of her life in Thorp.

Mrs. Kolb was a member of the Methodist Church of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) and of the Woman’s Society of Christian Service, of said church. The closing year of her life was spent with her daughter at Indianapolis, Indiana. Her health commenced to fail her several years ago and although the best medical attention was given and loving care tendered to her by her loved ones, the time of her departure had come when the Lord called her to eternal rest on Thursday afternoon, Sept. 21, 1944 and at the time of her decease she had reached the age of 88 years, 10 months and 3 days.

Survivors are the daughter, Tekla, Mrs. William Knierium, of Indianapolis, Ind. Besides this there are many relatives and friends who sincerely mourn her departure.

Her friendship will be missed, but we await in faith, hope and patience, the meeting again in the rest and peace of God.
