Morgan, William Edward (October 20, 1928* - December 26, 1928)

Infant Son Dies Sunday Evening

William Edward, the nine-weeks-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Morgan of Curtiss, passed away Sunday evening about eleven o’clock at the Morgan home after a short illness with bronchial pneumonia.

Only the memory of the lovely babe is left, The taking away of the son has left a sad home, but the memories thereof can fancy him awaiting them in the place prepared for him: Palaces of ivory, its windows crystal clear.

The parents and two small sisters, Virginia and Vivian are the immediate family left to mourn.

Services were held at the St. Bernard’s Catholic church in Abbotsford Wednesday morning at 10:00 o’clock, Rev. Fr. H. W. McGuire officiating, speaking very comforting words to the bereaved family. The little form was laid to rest in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery.

The Advance joins the community in extending sincere sympathy to the Morgan family.

* Note: Birth date obtained from records of St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Twp. Colby, Clark County, Wisconsin, ALHN-Clark County.
