Luepke, George G. (18 Sept. 1904 - 12 July 1985)

Spencer, Wis. - George G. Luepke, 80, of 305 Roberts St., Spencer, Wisconsin, died Friday at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Spencer. The Rev. David Alt will officiate. Burial will be in West Spencer Cemetery.

Visitation will be at Rux Funeral Home, Spencer, after 4 p.m. Sunday.

Mr. Luepke was born Sept. 18, 1904 in Spencer to Frank and Sophie (Oelrich) Luepke and received his education in the Town of Brighton school. He married Dorothy Kaholka on June 15, 1932 at St. John’s Catholic Church, Marshfield. He spent most of his life farming and also worked for the Spencer Feed Mill. He served on the Town of Brighton School Board for several years. Mr. Luepke moved to Spencer in 1976, and was a member of the Senior Citizens Club and St. John’s Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife; three brothers, Walter, Herman and Emil, all of Spencer; one sister, Milda Rindfleisch of Spencer; three sons, Donald and Norman, both of Marshfield, and Kenneth of Spencer, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
