Krasselt, Siegert #2 (4 May 1910 - 10 Apr. 1983)

Spencer, Wis. - Siegert Krasselt, 72, of 305 S. LaSalle St., Spencer, Wisconsin, died at 6:25 a.m. Sunday in the emergency room at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Marshfield.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer. The Rev. William Ruhbusch will officiate. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Marshfield.

Visitation at the Rux Funeral Home, Spencer, will begin after 2 p.m. Tuesday.

He was born May 4, 1910 in Kankakee, Ill., the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Krasselt. He moved with his family to the Town of Sherman in 1914, and lived there until 1979, when he retired and moved to Spencer.

He was active on the Veefkind School Board for many years, and was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

He married Eva Plath Nov. 27, 1934 in Trinity Lutheran Church, Spencer. She survives along with two daughters, Mrs. Wilmer (Patricia) Griepentrog of Route 2, Spencer, and Janice Krasselt of Spencer; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Susie Anderegg of Loyal and Mrs. Ema Engstrom of Bloomfield, Iowa.

He was predeceased by his parents, one brother and two sisters.
