Kaminski, Rose (2 MAR 1929 - 7 MAY 1944)

Rose Kaminski, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jos. Kaminski of the Town of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) died at her home Sunday, May 7th, 1944 of complications following a mastoid operation. She was a freshman in Thorp High School.

Rose Emma Kaminski was born in the Town of Thorp on March 2nd, 1929, having reached the age of 15 years, 2 months and 5 days.

She is survived by her parents, a twin sister, Rita, three other sisters, Josephine, Theresa and Julia, three brothers, Anton of Chicago, John and Louis at home.

"When death strikes down the innocent and young, for every fragile form from which he lets the panting spirit free, a hundred virtues rise, in shapes of mercy, charity and love, to walk the world and bless it. Of every tear that sorrowing mortals shed on sjuch green graves, some good is born, some getler nature comes."

Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Church at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, Rev. F. Piekarski officiating, and interment following in the parish cemetery. Pallbearers were: Steve Lato, Matt Kopacz, Stanley Arciszewski, Stanley Sumiec, John Jarosz, Leonard Jaskot and Al Teclaw.
