Abramowicz, Alex (? - 18 FEB 1944)
Pvt. Alex Abramowicz, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Alex Abramowicz, Sr., of Bellinger, in the Town of Taft, was killed in action with the U.S. Forces in Italy, Feb. 18, 1944. Word to this effect was received by the parents last week by telegram from the War Department.
Pvt. Abramowicz was a graduate of the Thorp High School with the class of 1940. He entered the army last March and has been overseas since July, serving in Africa and Italy.
