Folstad, Dena (Marriage - 22 Jan. 1944)

Miss Dena Folstad, daughter of Mrs. Ingeborg Folstad of Stanley, became the bride of Wilson Jacobson, son of Mrs. Nellie Jacobson of Edmund in a ceremony at Our Savior Lutheran Church at Stanley January 22. The groom is s former resident of Greenwood, and the wedding was attended by Mrs. Louis Behrens, Mrs. Albert Dahl and Miss Melva Afkend of Greenwood.

The bride was attended by her cousin, Mrs. Emma Wold, of Stanley.

After the ceremony a buffet luncheon and reception was given in the church parlors for 40 relatives and friends.

The bride is a graduate of Stanley High School, class of 1932.

The young couple left Saturday evening for Edmund, for a visit with the groom’s mother. They will be at home after February 1, in Ypsilanti, Mich., where the groom is employed.
