Jenni, Inez (Marriage - 5 OCT 1941)

Miss Inez Jenni, daughter of Mrs. Emilie Jenni, Loyal, became the bride of Louis Meier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Meier, Neillsville, in a ceremony performed by the Rev. J. C. Langholz at the Trinity Lutheran Church at three o’clock Sunday afternoon, October fifth.

The bride, who was gowned in white satin seed pearl trim, carried a white Bible with a white lily and streamers and her veil flowed from a seed pearl tiara. The Bible was a gift from the Luther League. Miss Helen Meier was maid of honor, and Miss Lorraine Jenni was bridesmaid. The former wore a colonial style peach taffeta gown with matching veil, and the latter wore blue taffeta similarly styled. Pink and white pompoms made up their bouquets.

Harold Beyer served as best man and Charles Meier was groomsman. Jimmy Meier attended as ring bearer, and Joy Ann Jenni and Joann Franz were flower girls.

Mrs. Romaine Rossow sang "Oh Promise Me" and "Under Thy Wings". Mrs. George Jensen was the accompanist.

Cut flowers and peach, blue, and white streamers decorated the church parlors for the wedding supper, which was attended by approximately 60 relatives and friends. Following the supper a reception was held at the bride’s home. The bridal couple will make their home at Chili, where the groom is engaged in farming.

Meier and family. Mr. and <rs.
