DeKoskie, Mayme (2 SEP 1943)

Mrs. Leon E. Bogumill and daughter, Mrs. Eileen Frenette were present at the marriage of the former’s sister, Miss Mayme DeKoskie, to S. Sgt. Marshall Kowal, son of Theo. Kowal, of Marbletown, Pa. The marriage took place Thursday, Sept. 2nd, 1943 at the Immaculate Conception Church at Kingston, N.Y., the home of the bride’s father, Peter DeKoskie. Rev. Stanislaus Malinowski performed the service.

The bride was gowned in white satin with lace inset and train. She wore a fingertip veil and carried a bouquet of white gladioli. Mrs. Leon E. Bogumill of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), was her sister’s matron of honor and wore rose colored jersey gown and carried a bouquet of Picardy gladioli. John Kowal was best man for his brother.

The bride has a large circle of friends in Thorp who join in extending best wishes.
