Sciesor, Mary (27 JUL 1943)

On Tuesday morning, July 27th, 1943, at 10:00 o’clock, St. Stanislaus Church in Lublin, Wis. was the scene of a very pretty wedding when Miss Mary Sciesor, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Marion Sciesor, became the bride of Mr. Walter Bando, son of Mr. Stanley Bando of Lublin. Father Rapala performed the ceremony.

The bride approached the altar on the arm of her father who gave her in marriage. She was lovely in a gown of sheer ninon on princess lines. Her full length veil was held in place by a tiara crown outlined in pearls. She carried a lovely bouquet of lilies.

She was attended by Miss Clara Rogalski and Miss Lillian Teclaw. They wore matching gowns of white chiffon designed with stardust and matching hats of white net. Each carried a bouquet of red roses.

The groom was attended by Thomas Kipak, as best man, and Robert Levan, nephew of the groom. The groom and attendants were in full dress.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Lublin Club Hall. The newlyweds will make their home on the groom’s farm near Lublin, Taylor Co., Wis.

Out of town guests were: Theodore Strzok of Seattle, Wash., Harriet Orzechowski of Milwaukee, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. McQuillen of Medford, Wis., and Judge Clifford Curran of Medford, Wis.
