Neillsville Locals (31 October 1968)
Four Neillsville ladies, Della Botnen, Wanda Schiesel, Ruby Syth and Ella Stucki spent the weekend in Milwaukee, where they visited the Milwaukee Zoo and the conservatory and horticulture plant at Mitchell Park.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bedell and family drove to Fairchild Sunday and from there were accompanied by his parents, Mr. and Mr. George Bedell, to Black River Falls where they were guests of Mrs. George Bedell’s brother, Glenn Hizer, who was observing his birthday.
Friday to Sunday guests at the Carl Eslinger home were Mr. and Mrs. Wenzel Johanek, Tony, Juli and Tim, Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Petasek of Green Bay, and Dennis Pozega of Auburndale. Supper guests Saturday were Mr. and Mrs. Steve Pozega of Chili.
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Pischer and family attended the open house at the Eau Claire Technical School Sunday. They also visited Tana Larsen, a student at Wisconsin State University-Eau Claire.
Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Winn and their daughters, Linda and Penny, of Bay City, Mich., were guests Saturday of her mother, Mrs. Adela Schumacher.
Kenneth Lindekugel, a student at the technical institute in Wausau, visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Lindekugel, last weekend.
