Charley Collier and Roy Prosser visited Wausau, last week.

J. A. Hoffman, of Marshfield, was in the city, Saturday, between trains.

Mr. and Mrs. J. C. Enright attended the races, in Marshfield, one day last week.

Miss Lena Welsch went to Prentice, Tuesday, to visit a few days with her sister.

Miss Ella Lamont returned home Saturday afternoon, from visits at Fifield and Chelsea.

Geo. H’y Elvis, of Medford, was a guest of Prof. and Mrs. R. E. W. Sommer, Monday.

Oluf Thompson, chairman of the town of Hoard, was a welcome caller at this office, Tuesday morning.

Miss June Freeman, daughter of Charley Freeman, is visiting with her grand-pa, the doctor, this week.

Earl Bowser, of Cascade, is visiting the family of his uncle, J. E. Lyons, and expects to remain all winter.

Revs. Paul Hull, of Greenwood, and S. A. Hoffman, of this place, will exchange pulpits, next Sunday evening.

W. J. Pierce and Miss Myrtle Else, of Plover, were in the city, Monday. The Lady is a relative of Fred Carver.

Daniel Mahoney is in Milwaukee, this week, attending the Republican state convention, to which he is a delegate.

Father Vadder returned from Prairie du Chien, Friday evening, where he had been visiting the fore part of the week.

Nils G. Peterson, who is working in a foundry at Marshfield, wheeled up, Sunday, and spent the day with his father.
