Kautsky, Mary Caroline (18 June 1862 - 20 Jan. 1951)

Mrs. Mary Caroline Kautsky, a former resident of Colby, Wisconsin, died of a heart attack at her home in East Orange, N.J., January 20. Funeral services were held at the Colonial Home in East Orange, Rev. Dr. Harry M. Taylor, pastor of Calvary Methodist church of East Orange officiating. The cremated remains will be buried in the Colby (Colby, Clark Co. Wis.) Cemetery at some future date.

Mrs. Kautsky was born in Spring Lake, Wis., and lived in Colby before moving to East Orange 22 years ago. She taught school in Wisconsin. She was the widow of Dr. Ernest V. Kautsky.

She leaves three daughters, Mrs. Marie K. Wright of Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Robert Banister of Danbury, Conn., and Miss Helen Kautsky at home; a son, Emil J. Kautsky of Milwaukee; three grand children and five great grand children.

*** Note: Mrs. Kautsky is buried in the Colby Memorial Cemetery, Colby, Clark County, Wisconsin.
