Buss, George (3 June 1888 - 18 Feb. 1950)

George Buss, age 61, a former resident of Green Grove, Wisconsin, died Saturday. Funeral services were held from the Lulloff Funeral Home, Colby, Tuesday afternoon.

George Buss passed away at Milan Saturday at the age of 61 years. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Lulloff Funeral Home in Colby, Wis., Rev. H. E Malotky officiating and burial was made in the Lutheran cemetery at Milan. Pall bearers were Fred and Frank Marquardt, Earl and Harold Schultz and Einar and Oscar Olson.

The deceased was born on June 3, 1888, and spent his boyhood with his parents on a farm in the town of Green Grove, Clark county. When he married in 1917, he settled on a farm in the town of Holton, Marathon county. The past three years, he lived with his daughter, Mrs. Vance Yost, in Milan. He had been in poor health the past several years.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Vance Yost, of Milan, two sons, Chester Buss of Abbotsford and James Buss of Curtiss; two step-daughters, Mrs. Arthur Opitz and Mrs. Ervin Fritsch, both of Sheboygan; one step son, Edward Olson of Colby; one sister, Martha Buss; three brothers, Fred, Herbert and Frank Buss; 11 grand children. His wife died in 1929. His parents, one brother and one sister also preceded him in death.
