Mr. and Mrs. Harry Demand of Abbotsford observed their 45th wedding anniversary last Thursday, Nov. 24th. They were married just 45 years ago at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Erhart Fricke, at Cherokee. Rev. Wallace performed the ceremony.

They have four children - two sons, Erhart, who lives in Sheboygan Falls, and Lloyd of Portland, Ore.; two daughters, Mrs. Joseph (Sarah) Tresch of Evansville and Mrs. Raymond (Janet) Draheim of Kinzua, Ore. There are five grand children and one great grand child.

Their grandson, and his wife, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Polzin, and daughter, Gayle, of Madison, came for the day and took his grandparents to Medford to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Davis, Mrs. Polzin’s parents, to be guests of honor at a turkey dinner. A large wedding cake was the centerpiece at the table.

Other dinner guests were Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Davis and children and William Miller of Medford and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Meagher and children of Marshfield.
