McEachern, Susan M. (28 SEP 1941)

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. A. McEachern announce the marriage at their home on Sept. 28, 1941, of their daughter, Susan Margaret, to Robert A. Elliott, son of Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Elliott, Badger Ave., Eau Claire, Wis.

In the presence of their immediate relatives and a few friends the ceremony was performed by the Rev. Fred J. Jordan of Eau Claire, at the McEachern home in Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).

The bride was attired in an afternoon dress of spruce green and wore a corsage of regal lilies. Her bridesmaid, Miss Betty Jacobson, wore a gold frock with a corsage of sweetheart roses. David McEachern, brother of the bride, acted as best man.

After a brief stay at the cottage of Mr. and Mrs. E.F. Burns at Pink Lake, the couple will be at home after November 1st in the Riverside apartments in Eau Claire.

Guests from out of town here to attend the wedding were: Mr. and Mrs. A.J. Elliott and sons, John and Arthur, of Eau Claire, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Elliott of Chippewa Falls, Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Elliott of Neillsville, Floyd Wilder of Coloma, Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Dunn III, of St. Paul, Kenneth Swanson of Spokane, Wash., E.J. Fear, Mr. and Mrs. Clinton Hatch, Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Fear, Dr. and Mrs. E.F. burns, Mr. and Mrs. Donald burns, Roger Ritch, Mashal Drew, Omar LaMoe and the Reverend and Mrs. Fred J. Jordan, all of Eau Claire.
