Hoeck, Grace (18 MAR 1901 - 27 AUG 1941)

Mrs. Louis Hoeck, 40, town of Medford, died Wednesday, Aug. 27, 1941, at the Medford Hospital following a lingering illness. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon, Aug. 30, from the Medford Funeral Home at 2 o’clock, with Rev. R.W. Mueller officiating. Interment took place at the Evergreen Cemetery.

Mrs. Hoeck, nee Grace McKee, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Shakspeare McKee, deceased, was born March 18, 1901, at Bradford, Ill. She moved to Wisconsin with her parents and spent her youth in the town of Taft (Taylor Co., Wis.). For the past three years, they made their home in the town of Medford. One daughter, Alma Jeanette, preceded her mother in death.

The deceased is survived by her husband and four children, Annabelle Louise, Harvey Oscar, Archie Samuel and Earl Louis; two brothers, Wendell of the town of Taft and Roy of Rolla, Mo.; three sisters, Mrs. Luella Long of Princeton, Ill., Mrs. Elmer Ness of Pepin and Mrs. C. Ness of the town of Taft.

Out of town relatives who attended the funeral were Francis Long and sister Vera of Princeton, Ill., Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Ness of Pepin, and Louis Schueller of Keystone, Ia.
