Ramberg, Dorothy I. (7 JUN 1941)

A pretty wedding took place at the Lutheran parsonage in Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) on Saturday afternoon, June 7th, 1941, at 2:30 o’clock, when Miss Dorothy Irene Ramberg, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ed Ramberg and Mrs. Arthur Lewis Mattes, son of Phillip Mattes Sr., were united in marriage by Rev. F. Sprengler.

The bride wore a long white netting lace over satin gown with finger tip veil and net train. Her bouquet was of white roses and snapdragons.

The couple was attended by the bride’s sister and brother, Mrs. Robert Buss and Donald Ramberg, Mrs. Buss was dressed in blue net over lace and blue taffeta. The groom and best man wore teal blue suits.

After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents.

A wedding dance was given at the American Legion Hall in the evening.

Hosts of friends and relatives wish the young couple much happiness and success in their journey through life. They will reside on the groom’s farm in the town of Mead (Clark Co.).
