KRAUSE FUNERAL TO BE HELD ON FRIDAY

Neillsville Woman Was Resident of County Over 70 Years

Neillsville--Funeral rites will be conducted at the Jaster Funeral Home here at 2 p.m. Friday for Mrs. Mathilda Krause, 81, who died at the Neillsville Hospital at 11 p.m. Tuesday of a complication of ailments.

The Rev. G. W. Longenecker will have charge of the service and burial will take place in the Neillsville cemetery. The body is lying in state at the funeral home.

Mathilda Shupe was born in Fond du Lac County on July 9, 1862, and received her education there. She came to Clark County in 1871 with her parents, who settled north of Loyal, and her marriage to Gus Krause took place in Neillsville in 1902. They had no children.

Surviving are a sister, Mrs. Ed Hommel, Tacoma, Wash., and a brother, George Shupe, Castle Rock, Wash. Another brother and a sister preceded her in death.

Pallbearers at the rites will be Wayne Potter, George Tibbetts, Leland Bandelow, Art Kunze, Otto Warren and George Prochazka. Miss Marquerite Brown, accompanied by Mrs. Jess Scott, will sing at the service.
