Asleson, Helen N. (8 APR 1901 - 26 FEB 1941)

Mrs. Forest Asleson, age 39 years, town of Goodrich, Taylor County, Wis., died at the Madison Hospital Wednesday, February 26, following a major operation. Funeral services were held Monday afternoon, March 3, from the funeral home in Medford, the Rev. L. Vater officiating. Interment took place in the Evergreen Cemetery in Medford.

Mrs. Asleson nee Helen Naomi Nutting was born April 8, 1901 in Loyal. She was a graduate of the Loyal High School. She was married to Forest Asleson December 24, 1923 in Medford. They came to their present home in 1935.

Mrs. Asleson spent her entire life in Wisconsin with exception of ten years spent with her parents in North Dakota and was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church.

Surviving are her husband and three children Gladwyn 16, Vivian 13, and Dwayne 11 years, her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Nutting of Goodrich and one brother Rudell Nutting of Medford.

Pallbearers were Geo. Weller, Adrian Romens, Lonnie Cornwell, Chet Marthaler, Ernest Bergmann and Otto Birkholz.

Out of town relatives and friends who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Nutting, Ivan Nutting, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Charpar, and Mrs. Albert Holt of Park Falls, Mr. Raymond Asleson of DeSmet, S. Dak., Mr. and Mrs. Vernal Asleson of Chicago and Mrs. O. C. Inman of Janesville, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Kopplitz, Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Brasier of Loyal, and Mr. and Mrs. Bud Caroll of Chicago.
